This isn't a content update, but I need to let visitors know that starting on May 18 (or possibly earlier), the server ZVGQ was hosted on was under the effect of some malicious script that inserted lines into random htmls served to users. It seems these added lines caused ZVGQ to redirect visitors to another site which contained any number of nasty trojans and malware. I got a report from an IE user that you can read here. I was told the problem was fixed late last Thursday, June 1. If someone encounters any malware from visiting the site from now on, please let me know.
I think this is a good opportunity to remind everyone to use up to date antivirus software. Also, using an alternative browser (Firefox, Opera) is generally considered more secure. For removing spyware/malware, Ad-Aware and Spybot SD may be useful.
Finally, I'd like to apologize for any damage caused and time wasted for anyone who was hit by the malware. It should go without saying that the last thing I want to do with this site is to be responsible for fucking up people's computers. I've been trying to get answers from my hosting company, Woolnet, and if something like this happens again, I'll be switching hosts immediately, if not before then.
